[RAD: General Design Faculty]
Introduce four RAD educational systems common for all fields.
(1) On-site Class
- Human resource personnel in the design industry plan the course programs. This is why students are able to receive practical evaluations. -
Classes are planned and operated by RAD teachers and “human resource personnel in the design industry” who are actively contributing to the design industry. In the “on-site classes,” students learn all the techniques, knowledge, and design concepts that are required in the real design field. Students who acquire practical techniques are highly evaluated by corporations and obtain job offers from their desired industry.
(2) Overseas Class
- Develop global perspectives in the overseas classes affiliated with overseas educational institutions -
- Overseas classes to learn cutting-
edge designThese classes are not just “overseas training.”
Original course programs “planned and developed by Renaissance Academy” and held overseas, including short-term study abroad programs at local affiliated colleges, and lifestyle study courses to learn about local lifestyle habits and culture with local coordinators.

“Wellant College Short-term Study Abroad Program in the Netherlands”
- Study flower designing and interior display at the heart of the European flower

(3) Internship Program
- On the job training at affiliated design corporations, experience the on-site needs and practice. -
Experience the “professional criteria and required technique” through on the
job training with the cooperation of design corporations inside and outside Shizuoka
Prefecture. People who work for the affiliated corporations including human resource
personnel give us “strict yet warm encouragement” and teach us the “attitude
for working in the industry.” Job experience you can attain only from the Internship
Program.
(4) Course Program Aiming to Acquire Qualifications
- Examination preparation programs with the cooperation of overseas affiliated educational institutions. Enables acquisition of qualifications in a short period through the authorization courses. -
RAD offers examination preparation programs for the “CEF (European Florist Qualification)” authorized by Wellant College in the Netherlands, and the programs are the first programs in the Tokai region. Through the programs including the short-term study abroad programs in the Netherlands at the heart of the European flower business, you can study the European flower business. For the interior design courses, individual students can acquire program qualifications in order to acquire authorized qualifications suitable for their future professions. Second-class architect, interior planner, and many more, students can advantageously acquire a variety of qualifications that are highly demanded in the industry.
